I loved that the property is enough away from Bar Harbor's Downtown to be quiet and serene, but close enough to walk to so that we didn't have to find parking when we wanted to shop or dine. I highly recommend a room with a balcony on the 2nd or 3rd floor so that you can see the water over the treeline of Atlantic University. The wifi is not very good, so hopefully they will upgrade that in the future. I was frustrating to navigate that every time we stepped foot back on property. The staff was kind and knowledgeable about the area. They have complimentary bicycles for daytime usage, and indoor and outdoor pool, and a dry sauna. Not fancy, just a clean, safe place to stay when you're enjoying Acadia National Park--there is a bus stop on property as well, so that is a huge plus.
