Happy to stay here!

Very friendly and well located. Self check in was no problem. Our room was clean, spacious and had a great city view. Bed was comfortable, shower was fine, street and subway noise was audible but not at all intrusive or annoying. They provided a nespresso coffee machine and bottled water. I easily recommend the MO House! it’s a bargain. (One minor improvement would be to have more places to hang towels after showering,)

The hotel is a walking distance from a few attractions in the city. I liked it also because there are a few coffee shops and bakeries around. It would be helpful if the hotel would share with guests (in printed form in the room and/or electronically) lists of nearby attractions, restaurants, bakeries, shopping areas, local ground transportation, etc.). The hotel is the first interface guests have with the city and guests usually look at hotel’s staff for this kind of information. I felt that the hotel owners/staff were just there to provide the facilities for accommodation and nothing else. The current business model may work for return guests/guests who are familiar with Barcelona and vicinity areas but not for guests who have never been to Barcelona before. None of the hotel staff made an attempt to meet with me for the entire duration of my stay.

The room was very clean and pleasant. Surprised there was just a small frosted window, nothing like you can see on property photos, so the room was dark. We were able to request iron which was very helpful. The hairdryer was decent too. Our AC broke and we couldn’t sleep for 2 nights but they managed to move us to a different room. Great location for tourist attractions - most of them walkable or there are three subway stations nearby. City tax upon arrival is cash only. I said I wish I knew it from the check-in instructions e-mail and receptionist said with confidence it was included so I apologised and left to get cash. Then I checked my inbox and there was no info about cash only.

It was a great stay. They have cleaning each morning if you leave a sign on your door. Although, there is a metro station underneath so you feel the vibrations from the metro once in a while. Overall, great stay.

After booking, they responded with a bogus email link. I should have canceled right then, but I replied via Expedia message, and I emailed them using the email listed on their website twice. They replied by message that they need more information. I replied with the info they requested by message and email, and did not have time to check messages or email, as I was traveling the next day. Once I landed, I tried to contact the owner. No response. Showed up at the property and called (multiple times), texted (multiple times), and emailed the owner (multiple times) as there was no one onsite; they did not respond for 3 hours, so I had to book another hotel. After I checked in at the new hotel, they finally responded 2 hours later via message, saying that they had someone onsite and were waiting for us. Could not believe what I was reading. Don't waste your time booking with Mohouse.

Super dejligt ophold! Lækre og rene værelser med daglig rengøring. Alt var nemt og ligetil, og placeringen var fantastisk. Desværre var værelserne meget lydtætte, så man kunne blive vækket om natten, hvis naboerne kom sent hjem.
