"We stayed at Able Heywood I’d say 6+ years ago and decided to stay again as I found a good deal on a 1 night stay. A great location and everything you need in the room. AC unit meant it was also comfortable warmth wise which a lot of places don’t have in a rooms. Staff friendly and did everything to make our stay a good one. "

"Accomodation was perfect for us as we were travelling with our small dog. Excellent selection of coffee and teas in the room. Staff were all really helpful and friendly. We had our evening meal in the hotel, whih was excellent, as was our breakfast the following morning. Lovely town to stay in with plenty of pubs restaurants and bars. We will definitely stay again when in the area. "

"I was very impressed with the Queen's Head. Nice clean room in a great location in Higher Buxton. Housekeeping promptly every day. First-rate full English breakfast included. My only complaint is that the room was rather small. There was no space to have an open suitcase, so I had to stuff it in a closet. That was a little inconvenient. Of course, I realize there is nothing they can do about that. It is an old building, and the room size is what it is."
