Enjoyed staying in a chateau in town. Charles the owner was very welcoming and gave us a tour around his home. If you want to stay in a modern hotel with all the amenities this is probably not the place for you. But if you want charecter and personal service you will not regret it. Breakfast in front of the log fire surrounded by artwork overlooking the park from your 18th century drawing room was an experience we will always remember.

The facillities are of an exceptionally high quality, this isa good value for money chambres d'hotes. It is in a very rural location but also quite accessible tothe nearest small town of Putanges. If you are in need ofa really good rest with good hosts, this is one for you

Lovely hotel. Very welcoming owner. Short walk into town for an evening meal. Very convenient for a stop over if travelling via the A28 autoroute. Excellent value for money.

Beautiful apartment in a beautiful building. Lots of space and the kitchen was home from home with everything you could possibly need.
Fantastic communication with Peter.
Highly recommend staying here, wish our trip had been for longer.

We had a good sized room with seperate bed for child in living area. Friendly and helpful staff who helped book two pool slots for us during our one night stay. Shame the sauna wasn’t working. Good location for main town.

After a car breakdown we found ourselves unexpectedly at this hotel. We stayed three nights and the staff were exceptional. A very helpful lady helped us with our bags and she was able to provide us with help. In fact all the staff were friendly and really tried their best to make our stay as comfortable as it was. The restaurant was really pleasant and served great food. Our room was clean and comfortable and they let us stay in our room well after check out time. A young man at front desk...

Yes, there are holiday rentals close to the most popular sights in Barou-en-Auge, or you can select a more secluded option if you're looking for a relaxing stay.
What can I see and do in Barou-en-Auge?
While you're exploring the area, Château de Canon and Lac de Rabodanges are a couple of picturesque spots to get outside and enjoy nature. Automates Avenue and Falaise Château are a couple of places you'll find in the wider area.
What are holiday rentals like in Barou-en-Auge?
Holiday rentals are privately owned properties you can book for a few days, or a quick weekend, in Barou-en-Auge. Holiday rentals offer amenities such as patios, hot tubs and fire pits so you'll have a home away from home. If you're concerned about cleanliness, holiday rentals can offer a sense of safety away from public hotel lifts and bustling concierge desks while still allowing you the experience of travel. You'll also find more space in a holiday rental than in a traditional hotel, which is another reason why a holiday rental is a great option for a small group gathering.
