"Absolutely exceptional. The room was amazing with a conservatory and a sitting room included, with kettle and teas. The bed was very comfortable and the grounds were very beautiful. The lovely owner was friendly and even made us crepes for breakfast with caramel sauce. I'm so pleased I stayed here. Very close to Bayeux, which is a pretty town. Wish I'd stayed longer. Thank you and don't change a thing"

"Best stay in Arromanches-les-Bains (in Normandie)! A well-kept building from 1850 where they have kept the style, weathered doors and old windows. Fantastic host/hostess! Fantastic collection of WW2 memeromobilia in the entire house. The atmosphere is unbeatable! "

"The beautiful grounds and the historic chateaux. Quiet surroundings and the songs of many birds throughout the day. Breakfast was delicious as well!!!"

"Great location near old Bayeux, with lots of restaurants and cafes and shops just outside. Rooms around a lovely courtyard. Breakfast was great! One morning crepes, one morning homemade cake. The homemade yogurt was wonderful. Great way to start your stay in Bayeux. "

"It was lovely, beautiful, friendly, quiet, and comfortable here. Guests are in rooms upstairs in a couple's new home. The house is part of a new development with large back yards. There is even a rooster next door. The couple presents a very nice continental breakfast of fresh, delicious breads and crescents, home made jam and hot tea or coffee or chocolate. The couple is very warm and welcoming. We couldn't have had a better time. Oh, they gave us a booklet of local sites and restaurants...

"This is a unique treasure box of an accomodation. Beautiful, spacious, a friendly dog and a wonderful host. This made us feel like we were in a timeless vision of France. It was a bit warm during a heatwave but everything else was perfect. The breakfast setting is amazing. The living spaces are magnificent. My family didn’t want to leave!"
