"Hard to tell as this was my first and last stay here, but I don’t think the staff here like black people, or maybe just us. They were not helpful to us, but I observed their interactions with white guesses and it was different. Could be they don’t see much black people there. Very uncomfortable for my family. Just needed a place to sleep. Next time in that area of Virginia, I’ll definitely stay somewhere else."

"We enjoyed the friendly environment, the scavenger hunt, and hikes! The AC did not work in room but we put available fan by window and it cooled down quickly. We ate meals at the lodge, I do recommend the delicious pork chop, meatloaf, biscuits with gravy.. We also enjoyed trying out more unique dishes such as frog legs and dandelion salad! We primarily came for a massage at the spa and that did not disappoint!! Would definitely come back for future for a low key, quiet, quaint getaway!"

"Tha Hyatt was a most comfortable and convenient place to stay for us. The staff was quite cooperative and was able to give us adjoining rooms. The breakfast was convenient and had an excellent selection of hot and cold foods. Parking is quite close and free. I reccomend the hotel"

"The room and the entire property was clean. The AC worked perfectly. The room was very comfortable. There was ample parking. We left before breakfast so didn’t have an opportunity to try the food. The only problem is that there is no elevator. "
