Had a great couple of days here. The reception bar with games is a real USP. Laura and Simon were brilliant and really went above and beyond for us. Great local knowledge. Rooms are comfortable, clean and while basic, had all we needed. I liked the touch of a general waste and recycling bin in the room, not something I've seen often in hotels but would like to see more of.

Spring trip

The stay was excellent - this was my second visit to Moxy in Bern and it didn’t disappoint. The staff are always very helpful and friendly. The reception area is excellent and rooms are well-laid out and spotlessly clean. Bern is a favourite destination of mine and I’ll continue to come back, using Moxy as my base.

Good area, very close to the train station. However, it is approximately a 20-minute ride to the old town, so please note this. The room was clean, very similar to the Premier Inns located in the UK. You check in downstairs at the bar, and the bartenders are the people who do it, which was new for me, but the check-in process was your typical one and went smoothly.

Unique, clic & modern

Great location, right next to the station. Modern rooms - no cupboard though, but overall very clean and comfortable. Stayed with my family of four. Reception staff is amazing and reception also has great vibes. Breakfast was also good.

Good for a few nights of stay

I’ve been several times to this Hotel. It’s still very clean and reasonable in price (for Swiss Standards). It’s convenient near a train station and near the highway. And you get a Free Bern Public transportation Pass for the time of your stay. The train is 5 minutes to the city centre of Bern. I’m always happy to stay here.

Lovely staff great location for Bern city centre

Lovely stay in a quirky hotel. Everything was great except I found the bed really hard and uncomfortable. Standard continental breakfast with quality items. We got a free pass to use public transport and found the tram the easiest form of transport into Bern City. The trams were so regular we didn’t have to wait for one.

The location of the property is great. Your are within walking distance to the train or bus station. The staff were great and friendly. Shoutout to Andrea as she was awesome. Note to management. On a sold out hotel, you can’t put only 2 people between 4-10pm, specially between Thursday- Sunday to check in and serve the bar. Most of the time both staff members were helping guest check in and no one was managing the bar.
