"Cooked breakfast was exceptional and good choice of cereal on continental, although would benefit from the addition of berries and yoghurts to the menu. Food at night was also fantastic. Great prices too."

"Mixed reviews overall, my room was generally pretty clean however, I found a hair in the bathroom that definitely wasn't mine as it was about 6 inches long onnthe tiles of the shower, the window didnt stay open without wedging something underneath it, decor was tired and the TV was no bigger than a PC monitor and looked lost on the wall and wasnt vaguely visible from the bed and everytime the fridge in the room clicked on and off it turned the TV off and on again (annoying to say the least). "On the whole it was a very enjoyable birthday weekend for myself and my wife. One small comment to make is on the Saturday night we opted for the buffet as opposed to the à la carte. The choice and quality weren’t the best but ok, only then to find out when the time came to pay that the costs were the same for the buffet as they were for the à la carte! Bit naughty really. "

"It was very exciting staying in a castle. We had the family room which was very quaintly laid out with a single bed in its own part of the small turret, through a stone arch.
The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful.
Breakfast was served in a box in our room with loads of choice, and fresh produce in a mini fridge which was lovely.
The area is stunning. We took a lovely walk along the path leading directly from the castle, and enjoyed our breakfast overlooking the hill.

"Accommodation excellent spotlessly clean & well maintained. Pub itself similarly maintained. Breakfast well presented with various options. Evening meal well priced with British & Indian menus available.

"My family of 4 stayed here for 1 night as we were attending a wedding at Stowe House.
The room was perfect for our family and huge. Breakfast and the communication from staff was perfect.
