When supply was low staff responded quickly when asks to refill. Friendly and helpful front desk staff. "

"Great place clean, super quiet overlools mountainside. 15 minutes to lava hot springs, 30 minutes to pocatello. Newly remodeled. Great place for family reunions or small group getaways, has connecting bedrooms and a shared kitchen with microwave, sink, dishwasher and fridge. Nice place."

"Staying at the Harkness was an experience. I was wanting to stay at a unique hotel on my trip and the Harkness is definitely that. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone wanting to get away from the cookie cutter hotels."

"At check in, reception was rude, not very informative. I went to ask for to tails and stood in line, she completely ignored me and helped the next person in line, I waited patiently, and she called the next person in line knowing i was just standing there, so I took initiative and said, ma'm, you know I was next in line you checked in the person behind me. I simply needed towels. She was rude the whole stay. I don't think there should be workers like that if they don't like their job they should...

"Room was clean and tidy. Front desk staff personable and friendly. Breakfast was wonderful. We really enjoyed the pancake maker. Breakfast attendant was kind and friendly. The food was stocked and didn’t run out of anything. Would stay here again."

"The staff was so wonderful - especially to all the kids staying there for the soccer tournament. The breakfasts are incredible! I wish I would have booked directly with the hotel because Expedia was awful to work with in changing dates. BOOK WITH HOTEL DIRECTLY FOR SURE!"

"I paid for a 2 bed suite knowing I have 4 kids with me and upon check in was told the hotel over sold rooms and I was the lucky one to be moved to 2 separate rooms non - conjoining and quite a bit smaller. A heads up would have been nice so we could have planned accordingly. Not to mention, the walls are thin and you can hear EVERYTHING. I’m sure our neighbors didn’t help but either way, Request a top floor and bring earbuds."

"The hotel has seen better days. The staff were very nice and the breakfast was good. The bed was comfortable and clean. But the carpets in the stairwells haven’t been vacuumed in days at least. The hard water stains in the toilets are distinctly black. The bedroom hardfloor hadn’t been swept recently, leaving dust bunnies and such for my feet to find. And sadly, we were not informed that the pool was under maintenance when we booked online. Rather disappointing. Safe and reasonably priced, but...

"Do not stay here. $165 for one night is outrageous. The hotel smells bad. The carepta are beyond dirty. There was kold on my curtains and the toilet....let's not even get started. Pass on this one. Im still washing all my belongings in hopes I dodnr being home any bed bugs. I couldn't get out of there fast enough."

"The room was dirty, trim falling off the wall, looked like a mouse had run across our bed when we walked in from mice poop on the bedspread. We ran out of toilet paper because there was barely any there to begin with and there werent any extra rolls, no tissues in the tissue holder, and the floor looked as though it hadnt been vaccummed in a long time."
