"This place was dirty, staff couldn't answer any questions and couldn't resolve any problems. The amenities that they said they had were all shut down such as pool, restaurant and lobby bathrooms. There was fighting above me all night so very difficult to sleep!!This place is a disaster and I requested a discount but they didn't give it to me. "

"The rooms were disgusting along with the bedding. The bathroom had dirt on the walls. There were no towels, only washcloths. My 80 yr old mother called to ask for towels so she could shower and was told my staff that they would not give any towels until after 9am when cleaning crew arrived. The beds were terrible to sleep in and only one small pillow for each guest. "

"The rooms were new and fresh and clean and staff top notch. Beds comfy. Parking plentiful. Loved the welcome with cookies to welcome Michigan State University grads and families. All around great! And saved us when we had to cancel our three rooms for family at the Red Roof Inn in Lansing - dirty, cigarette smokers running desk, trailer of cats in the pothole parking lot, place in complete disrepair. Crowne Plaza IHG saved us and then some. Also had a great - but a tad pricey - buffet...

"The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and upgraded since the last time I stayed. The room had a new white noise machine in the room as well which was a bonus in my opinion."

"The pool was poorly maintained and water was cloudy! Ice maker was broke and the hallways smelled like pot! "

"The property is very, very old and repairs haven’t been kept up with. Rain drips from the ceiling into the indoor pool. The picture on Expedia must be very old because the pool ceiling was actually falling. From the outside, you can see that many rooms are not in use. There are torn curtains, pillows shoved into the spaces where ac units once were and trash piles in what was once a courtyard. Hallways smell of food that leaks in from the restaurant next door and it’s not a good smell....

"I did not get to check-in until 7pm even though check in was at 3 pm. The room was very dirty, refrigerator, sheets, hotel towels had Blood on them so did the couch and beds. I took pictures of everything. Worst hotel ever and they did not refund me my money. They told me a family lived there for 4 months until there house was built and they did the best they could. I am very upset."

"Old, run down property. Not very clean. Elevator creaky & slow. Security chain broken on room door. Not enough towels supplied and all very thin. Had to ask for more. Doors were also thin. Could clearly hear people & barking dogs in the hallways which disrupted our sleep. Eggs & sausage at breakfast were cold and tasteless. On the second day, they ran out of eggs and other items. No one was wiping off tables between guests so all were dirty. We had 4 key cards for our 2 rooms and all stopped...
