Top Borgarbyggð Hotel Reviews

Hótel Varmaland

Hótel Varmaland

8/10 Good
"An enjoyable final stop at the end of our Iceland holiday. The room and bathroom very very clean, nice to have a coffee machine in the room. Breakfast was very good, some of the best we had in Iceland. The hotel restaurant, Calor, was also really nice. The staff were helpful when we had a couple of issues (one with our room and one when I got stuck in the lift!) The only thing is the bathroom design is a bit odd and the shower fully soaks the floor. It was cleaned each morning but still not ideal. It would have been helpful to be given instructions on how to find/use the hot tubs and sauna but they were great when we found them! Lastly there is a large greenhouse adjacent to the hotel which is lit incredibly brightly all day/night. Something to be aware of if you're in a room facing that direction!"
