"I also stay here when in the area. I know what you get is value for Money. On arriving the staff welcome you, bedrooms are clean and tidy, bar staff and the food are great. Good nights sleep and great breakfast to start the following day."

"I have stayed in a fair few inns and hotels in the English countryside. This was one of my least favorites. It is going for a more royal feel, but the decor is outdated 90s black and silver with wavy mirrors that don’t match the royal seal carpets. The bed was very hard, lumpy, and uncomfortable. It doesn’t not have a great view or pleasant grounds. There are way better quaint inns and hotels in the Dorset area, find a different one!"

"Rooms clean and warm but could do with a freshen up decoratively. Staff were very helpful. My only issue was the lack of disabled facilities. The ground floor rooms were sorted, but no walk in shower was available for us, and the small lift in the bar area was not working, nor did I see anyone attending to it during our 2 night stay. This limited where my family could sit for meals."
