What a find! I am almost reluctant to review this very special place but it's safe to say you will not regret booking on of the five bedrooms. Our was very large, with a separate sitting room and access to the cloister overlooking the lovely garden.

The quality and comfort of most Paradors is pretty consistent and this one certainly didn’t disappoint. Great location overlooking the pretty town and just a 10 minute gentle walk to the centre. The pool area is perfect for a lazy relaxing day and Paloma on reception always greeted you with a smile. Lovely stay thank you

What a find! The reviews said that some rooms were a bit tired and the food is good with generous portions. So I thought I’d take a chance. It was good value especially compared to accommodation in Spain, where I had just been. The room was excellent - one of the largest rooms that I’ve stayed in. Great location, beautiful place, lovely view

Clean room. Great staff and hotel was great.

Friendly exceptionally clean hotel with wonderful menu for dinner. Good wine list at friendly prices. The bed was a medical grade mattress which was a bit too firm for us. All in all a wonderful place to stay not far from Portugal Spanish border. Listing did not say that whilst it was off a listed road it was not now the main road so was quiet.Hotel refurbished a year or so ago and is popular with locals always a good sign

Extremely charming old inn, dating back to the twelfth century. I really enjoyed the rustic environment. Friendly proprietor and super quiet village. Would definitely stay here again!

A quietly brilliant stay. The welcome was warm without the fuss, the beds were the sink-into-oblivion kind, and the shower actually understood the assignment. Breakfast — light, thoughtful, and included in the room rate — felt like a small act of generosity rather than an upsell.
