This was an amazing vacation for my family. We had so much fun. There was 10 of us all together and there was plenty of room. We didn't get the top floor like we paid for. Not sure what happened there. But the middle view was pretty. And it worked out. We did get complaints because of the noise, even though we wasn't being noisy, but the owner was down stairs and was extremely friendly about it. All together we had a great time.

The condo was very nice and clean. I would agree with all the other reviews, that I actually used to make my decision, except for the fact that, we were the only ones at the resort and I could get no communication with the property manager Heidi.

Great Family Weekend Getaway

The Rockwood Resort was the best hotel/resort my family has ever stayed in, hands down. We travel with kitchen and laundry essentials, but we did not use any of them once. Everything was clean and well-stocked. It had a good view of the lake. The only downside was the firmer than we like bed. Check-in involved a few text messages from the staff and check-out was a checklist on the front door. I can't wait to come back to Rockwood Resort.

Great place for large families or extended family. Large kitchen and bedrooms. Plenty of room for everyone. Great location right by the lake. Hot water heater had to be reset a couple times. AC froze up and had to be serviced. Even with this, staff gave us an extra free day to stay. I would definitely stay again.

Very spacious condo

Our stay was very nice. The condo was spacious & comfortable. Very easy to check in & out. Room was clean. Bathrooms were very spacious & nice with plenty of clean towels. We had a nice view of the lake. Balcony was a nice area. The only thing that was a bit annoying were the neighbors above us who let their kids run & stomp around to where our ceiling fans were shaking when they were in their condo. Other than that issue we would recommend staying here & next time we will be sure to stay on the 2nd floor so we can sleep at night without the stomping noise above us.

Loved it!!!

Fabulous place to stay! It looked just like the pictures and was so clean. The bedding was wonderful- super cozy. Very quiet and serene. I had a small dog, and there was a space convenient to take him out right by the condo. Could barely see the lake since the trees were still covered with leaves, but the view was still fantastic- gorgeous mountains and trees. Had questions once and the host immediately replied. Wish we would’ve booked for longer!

Very nice condos. Excellent accommodations by management to move us to a lower level condo from an upper level. Upon booking through Expedia, I requested a lower level condo. This request was not passed along to Rockwood Resort, and therefore we were originally placed in an upper level condo when we checked in. This wouldn't have been an issue except for the fact that an aunt of mine who shared the condo with us has a bad back and cannot climb stairs without pain. I informed the property manager of this miscommunication and issue, and although the resort was completely booked for the night, he responded quickly and positively by willingly and eagerly moving us to a lower level condo to accommodate our needs. Only other issue I had was when I booked the condo through Expedia, I booked a 16 person condo, which was supposed to have 2 bunk beds in one bedroom in addition to 2 other rooms with King beds. The bunk bed room in the condo we were placed in when we arrived only had 1 bunkbed, and accommodated 14 people instead of 16. Luckily this wasn't a huge deal for us since we only had 12 people to sleep. However, it would have been nice to have received the accommodations I booked and paid for. I don't blame Rockwood Resort for this mishap, but rather the booking site I used, Expedia. Overall very happy with this condo. It was my aunts second stay at Rockwood Resort. She recommended it to us, and I would recommend it and would stay there again.

I love that this property is so close to Silver Dollar City! We loved that there was a bunk bed room. We have 4 kids who refuse to sleep in the same beds together so it makes it rather difficult to make a reservation in a normal room. It was clean and decorated very well.
