This is a real bunker! You get an amazing historical sense of what living through the Cold War might have been like, or as a grittier version of a Vault Dweller in Fallout. The mold reminded me of what it might breathing in constant rads might be like. An amazing experience!

It's a very good experience for a stay at a bunker to understand the life in a bunker. Air conditioning at 14C, no windows, narrow corridor and basic continental breakfast are overall offering by the host. A complementary visit to bunker is offered that more facilities are opened for visit to provide a better understanding of the life in a bunker. Honestly, one night stay is fine and enough. P.S. The host employs students and disabled people, it is a big merit.

Hello, thank you for the review. The accommodation is experiential, so the main reason for the visit should be to get the experience of staying in a bunker, which is not as simple as it might seem.

This is a very cool experience. Hands down the best thing to do in Brno. They even have breakfast included which was nice. I came with my young sons and they LOVED it. That said, it is similar to camping. The bathrooms are much like those at an outdoor camp and mostly shared between the sexes although there are small separate girl and boys bathrooms (with a shower stall or two!) toward the front. The beds are close to cots -- some are softer than other so check first and let the adults choose their beds before the kids! With your expectations set for camping, you will enjoy this very unique stay!

Cool Experience
So the bunker is a neat stay for a night or two. I only stayed one night... little afraid to use the showers, and there was an issue where the light didn't work. But, overall if you want to "experience" a nostalgic era of the cold war then you must definitely try it out even if just for a night. What was cool is I had a typewriter in my room that I actually got working and was able to write a letter out, lol. Again, very fascinating experience that you can only find at this place. I will warn you to bring warm pajamas as the room I was in did get quite cold, but again, you are in a bunker it is not the hilton...it is there for a retro experience. You do get a free tour out of the stay, but I had already done the tour so I didn't take the offer. They do have breakfast too, but due to my timeline I didn't have time for this either. So, either way, I would try this out again but probably will bring along some of my family or friends to enjoy the experience with. Also, with everything happening with Russia and Ukraine at least I feel a little bit safer knowing I'm in a fallout shelter :)

A one night stay hostel
Obviously not a typical hostel but a must stay place. Only stayed for a night and that was probably enough. Not the most comfortable beds, but there was free breakfast in the morning.

Unique experience. Cheap for the hostel part. But they Should have told me in advance that I was getting a room right next to 1 of the Bathrooms! I could easily hear a lot of noice coming from the bathroom. And that made it hard to get enough and proper sleep.

A very interesting place to stay
A great place to stay for an interesting experience. I would not suggest more than one night. Don't expect to get much sleep. There is no way for sound to be muffled in a bunker so you can hear people in the hallways throughout the night. Bathroom facilities are minimal: no place to put anything. So carry your toothbrush to the bathroom with toothpaste already on it. If you plan to take a shower, there is not even a hook to hang a towel. A stay in the bunker is a bit like camping. However, the fun of staying in a bunker eclipses these details. You can explore the bunker and can even go on a tour of the bunker at no additional cost (its included in your stay) but the tour is only in Czech. There are so many nifty things to see throughout the bunker: old rotary phones, jackets, gas masks, first aid kits, security doors, helmets, etc. There is wifi but I was unable to get a good connection in my room (the rooms are underground after all) but the breakfast room is close enough to the outside world and has great wifi. There are no outlets there though. I had so many outlets in my room, I could have charged a family's worth of toys, yet I was in a room with one bed. The bed is an original cot and although I did not sleep well, the cot was not uncomfortable. A sleeping bag is provided as the bedding and is all that is needed to keep you warm.

Difficult to review a property of this type as you should know what you're getting. That said it was a wonderful experience. The staff were superb, really helpful.

Friendly people and staff. What it was a pain and got me a cold is the weather conditions inside the facilities. It was extremely cold, there was no heating. The cold in the place destroyed my experience. I had a group of girls next to my room who were talking non stop so was hard to fall asleep. In general I would tell you not to expect much. Sleeping was also hard as there are no mattresses but they are just yoga mats your are sleeping in. Bathroom would be nice if it can be also improved as it was a bit dirty.

Det är ju en bunker, och att leva upp till ryktet om militärens bekvämlighet gjorde dem. Dålig täckning (det är en bunker!!!), obekväm spjälsäng och ett kallt rum djupt in i berget. Du får vad du förväntar dig av en gammal militäranläggning och det kanske inte är för alla. Tappade känslan för tid helt när man saknade fönster och solljus. Absolut ett ställe att komma tillbaka till i Brno

Hier findet man keinen Luxus, aber es ist das Erlebnis wert, hier zu übernachten. Das Einzelzimmer war geräumig, und das Bett bequem. Leider ist die Lüftung laut, und die Wände sind überraschend dünn. Das WLAN funktionierte nicht, und tief unter der Erdoberfläche kann man ja das Handy nicht verwenden. Aber das Frühstück war recht gut. Insgesamt eine empfehlungswerte Erfahrung.

Hallo, vielen Dank für Ihre Bewertung. Es geht vor allem um das Erlebnis. Ja, die Klimaanlage ist hörbar, aber das hängt von den Platzverhältnissen ab. Wir haben das WLAN verstärkt, damit Gäste ein stabileres Signal haben.

The weirdest hostel ever!
The hostel was a nuclear shelter during the Cold War. It’s very old fashioned, cold and the WiFi connection is terrible and in the rooms doesn’t exist at all! It’s very expensive to what they offer! It’s suitable for people who like adventures or those who want to experience a weird stay! For me, it was an amazing experience but if I knew, I wouldn’t give my money for this hostel!. So I don’t recommend it at all!! It’s not my cup of tea!

Die Perspektive macht es aus!
Als Erlebnis, um die Erfahrung Mal gemacht zu haben, ist er Bunker sehr gut. Vor allem das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt! Das Frühstück ist inkl. und bei dem Preis gut. Außerdem ist die Lage sehr zentrale. Einmal über Straße und ihr befindet euch im Zentrum. Der nicht vorhandene Parkplatz wird super durch das Parkhaus Domini ausgeglichen. Wer die Natur mag, kann direkt in den über dem Bunker befindlichen Park gehen. Für Menschen die ein bequemes Bett haben möchten und es warm und gemütlich haben wollen ist der Bunker nicht zu empfehlen.

It is definitely one of the most unique places i've ever been. I felt as if I had traveled to the past. The bunker is in perfect conditions, the bed was good, room clean, toilets old but clean (remember, it's a bunker...). The receptionists are really helpful and kind (even though they didn't speak really good english). Were you to be just for one night or two in city, you should definitely stay at 10-z.

Waren 1 Nacht mit Enkeltochter (9Jahre) im Bunker, als Erlebnis auf der Weiterreise . Sie fand es toll. Alles Original, eben minimal einfach, aber guter Schlafsack. Toiletten und 1 Waschbecken mit kaltem Wasser als Gemeinschaftsraum... eben wie im Krieg. Toiletten sauber. Frühstück ausreichend, besser als im Krieg! Nur als Event für 1 Nacht. Lage im Centrum, auf dem Markt viele Restaurants, parken vor dem Hotel International 100m ohne Probleme.

Esperienza spartana ma da provare assolutamente.
È ovvio che chi decide di passare una notte qui, non lo fa per la comodità. Lo fa per a singolarità dell'esperienza. In tal caso, massima soddisfazione. La camera è un salto nel tempo, e muoversi per il bunker la notte, nel silenzio, anche solo per andare in bagno, è un'esperienza fantastica. Da provare, almeno una notte. Oltretutto il pernottamento vi permette di avere libero accesso alla parte espositiva. Personale molto gentile.

Good experience good location
The location is right in the center, 5 minutes walk to the Main Street and main square , 10 minutes walk to the main bus station . Basic breakfast but enough to keep you going .. friendly staff and they keep the bunker really original, and that means don’t expect anything fancy and just enjoy the experience . It gets a little bit cold at night but I asked for an extra blanket and it totally kept me warm, thank you guys !

地図の上では駅から中心地を挟んで反対側にありますが、小さな街なので十分徒歩圏内です。ただ街全体として高低差が大きいうえ石畳が多く、特に大きなスーツケースを持っている場合はバスの利用もお勧めします。 建物自体が核シェルターの博物館を兼ねており、ホテルの区画と分けられていますが、宿泊客は自由に入ることができます。内部にはヘルメットやガスマスク、外套など色々と置いてあり、着用して撮影が可能です。布団はおそらく寝袋のようにして使用します(そのつもりで使用しました) 真夏でしたが内部は全体的に寒いくらいで、その点は快適でした。携帯は圏外ですが、チェックイン時にwifiのパスワードを教えてもらえます。 全体的に清潔感や快適さとは無縁ですが、むしろそれを楽しむことができる、他にはないホテルです。

The real deal.
This really is a bunker, forget about any sort of comforts what so ever. It's cold, damp and smells of cellar (so will your stuff). So if you want the real deal this is it! Rock hard bunk beds with cold war era sleeping bags. Breakfast is pretty much non existent so I guess that is genuine as well. Oh, and bring a night light, it gets dark!

Interesting and fun experience. As you would expect basic facilities but that is the point of staying ! Cheap accommodation compared to local hotels but it definitely has character and uniqueness. Rooms quite cold but surprisingly warm sleeping bags provided. Breakfast adequate .Free entry to bunker museum provided with room rate which was interesting to go around. Recommended as something to do which is out of the ordinary.

Der Bunjer ist ein Hotel und Museum zugleich. Der Bunker ist leicht zufinden und alles ist fußläufig erreichbar. Die Einrichtung ist altersentsprechend prechend aber passend. Geschlafen wird in einem Schlafsack aber ein Kopfkissen ist dabei. Wer hier übernachtet hat aufjedenfall ein Abenteuer, wenn jemand auf dem Gang entlang läuft hört man es und die Lüftungsanlage hört man durchgängig (es ist ja logisch da wir alle frische Luft haben wollen) Ich würde es aufjedenfall wieder machen und danke für diese Erfahrung.

Unique atmosphere. Bedroom next to bathroom was a poor experience because bathroom door slammed shut and was very loud. Highly annoying in the morning when other guests were using the bathroom facilities

It was really original. Maybe some space heater? The rooms were really cold which is understandable but a little heater would have been so great. Overall a lot of fun.
