"Considering we booked a "deluxe" king room, there was really nothing deluxe about it. You can tell they have done some minor updates to the bathroom and flooring. We didn't even have soap upon arriving and had to ask the front desk for some. TV was terrible (basic cable with most channels fuzzy), not even a phone in the room or a hairdryer. No coffee or tea either. The bed was comfortable and AC was great but there were some questionable stains visible on box springs and shower curtain. Also...

"There's no visible sign on the property, but inside, there's a bhudda. No office at the property. At one of the doors, which appears to be the workers' quarters, there's a small note indicating that check-in will take place at another office location."

"We recently stayed at Bruce Peninsula Motel and were shocked at the level of cleanliness. The washroom was completely uncleaned — there was even a used tissue with a squashed mosquito stuck to the door, which was never removed. The overall hygiene standards were unacceptable, and it made the stay very uncomfortable. Definitely not worth the money, and I would not recommend this place to anyone."
