Housed in the historic Marmorosch-Blank Bank Palace, this 5-star gem in the heart of Bucharest’s Old Town is nothing short of spectacular. My stay was an unforgettable blend of grandeur, comfort, and impeccable service that left me longing to return.
The hotel’s architecture is a love letter to the Belle Époque, with its Art Deco and Art Nouveau influences meticulously preserved and seamlessly integrated with contemporary design. The grand lobby, bathed in natural light from a stunning painted glass ceiling, sets the tone with its opulent yet inviting atmosphere. Every corner of this former bank exudes history, from the intricate details of the restored interiors to the unique Vault bar—a speakeasy-style cocktail haven tucked inside the original bank vault, complete with its armored door and wrought-iron staircases.
