It was a good stay! Pool was great same with the hot tubs! Room was modest and nice :-) only thing is the breakfast. I’ll be honest it’s hardly a breakfast. No eggs or sausage/ bacon. Other than that it was a good stay.

Nice and clean, with comfy beds. Really liked the family rooms setup, and the chillin area with the fire pit. Much quieter than some other inns along same road, as it is set down from it (except the rooms right at the front of course). Great location and we had a lovely view of the hills.

Quiet weekend at the Loyal Duke. Coffee is good, breakfast more suitable for 5-8 yr old kids though. I think this property is good value and close to everything. It is however starting to show its age. Might be time to update a little.

This is my favorite place to go with my dogs when I head to the mountains. I enjoy hiking nearby and hanging out by the river in Salida, but this can leave all of us a bit messy. No worries, at the Loyal Duke, their accommodations are perfect. The bathrooms are older, but clean. The office/ breakfast setup is easy, and I had options of being inside or out for breakfast. I love the simple, updated decor in the room, and will be back again! Not to mention the very nice woman at the desk!!!
