"Wonderful stay at the Madden! Our sea view room was beautiful and the breakfast in the morning was exceptional. Very helpful, kind, and knowledgeable staff throughout the establishment. Would stay again for sure!"

"Centrally situated for Donegal town and good parking at hotel. Room in need of a total revamp, huge room but tiny cabinets. Tv is out of date and not up to standard. Bathroom is badly planned with no room to place any equipment. Shower is poor and bathroom has a bad damp smell. A little attention to detail, updating and cleaning could bring this hotel to the standard expected."

Mary was feiendly, front of house very clean. Bathroom looked amazing, but shower ran between scorching hot and freezing cold, very difficult to shower in. Please buy new towels...the ones in the room once wet smelt terrible. I couldn't use them and had to put them in the closet overnight because the smell was...

"Depending on how much you pay, this is a good place to stay if looking for somewhere near Donegal Town with parking facility. As a guest house it mainly has classic decor/furniture style and although it feels homely, maintenance needs were evident. Security is relatively basic for a quiet location out of town, particularly room doors operated by key alone. Breakfast service is good as were the staff helpful and welcoming."
