Set in wonderful grounds with lovely outdoor areas and enjoyed a great circular walk down to the river. All staff were so friendly and the steak for the evening meal was cooked perfectly as was the very generous breakfast . Definitely be back"

"The room was very clean, as was the bathroom, bedding and towels. Lovely big double windows gives plenty of natural light. A big built in wadrobe/cupboard gave plenty of storage space for clothes etc. An iron, heater, fan and hair dryer were all provided. The only thing that could possibly be improved is maybe some extra milk, it wasn't too much of an issue as I was on my own. However, im sure if I had asked the staff would have been more than accommodating as they were all very helpful and...

"Ran by a wonderful couple who are really friendly and accommodating. The lodge is in a beautiful location and the facilities and room are lovely. Breakfast was included and we were asked beforehand what we wanted so it would be ready for the time we requested. And it tasted wonderful. Me and my girlfriend have visited here twice now and I'd greatly recommend a stay here."
