Excellent and spacious facilities. Easy walk to convenience store, pubs and restaurants. Good WiFi, well equipped. Good aircon. 'Balcony' is enormous, and with slidable screens.

We were in Apartment 20. Good size, good location. Newish carpets. Do not stay there if you have allergies with mould or dust. You could smell the mould, I had concerns with the amount of mould in each air conditioner and the dust sitting everywhere. Walls were dirty and needed to be wiped down. Appliances were worn out, need to be replaced. Parking was good.

The apartment did not have a reception which made things difficult, communication was done by phone (which went unanswered and the message bank that was full) or text. Check in was done by text. One of the reasons I chose this place was it advertised it had wi-fi which it didn't, I would not have chosen to stay here if I knew it did not have wi-fi. The room was clean but dated, issues like the soap holder in the shower was broken made the room seem cheap. There was a TV in the bedroom. the remote for it was broken which made the TV useless. Very disappointed with our stay, a reception would have made dealing with issues easier than text messages.

Dirty, filthy, unhealthy, bad communication Very bad experience, I booked from Expedia, the booking said I have to contact Edge apartments to confirm, called a couple of times and no answer and you can not leave a message, When we arrived , there is no one in the reception but this is nothing to what we found inside the apartment. Dirt, dust, mould, spider webs on the windows, stained pillows and to top it all moving bugs on the beds, we couldn't even stay for few minutes, when we tried to contact the manager, again no answer and can not leave a message, I then sent a text message to which he replies that he and another staff had cleaned the apartment earlier in the morning, if that was cleaned, I can't imagine how dirty was it. I don't understand how this place has a 4 star , do yourself a favour and don't book there, finally, they didn't refund us any money. I discovered I was not the first review on how bad these apartments are and certainly will not be the last.

The 2 bedrooms apartment we stayed is quite big but the dishwasher didn't work. Bathrooms can do with some updates. The property had a very strong cleaning agent smell.

NO WIFI! In this day and age, not providing WiFi when you cater to travelers is a deal breaker. It is a necessity! Just appalled by this. Apartment is ok at best. Necessities are provided, but it is a very basic place. TV remote needs replaced. Very very little natural light…you need to have all the lights on all the time. Not the owners fault…just a really bad design. Dark as a dungeon. Furniture is fine…bathrooms need serious attention. The mold and corrosion is quite icky.

We had five family members. We reached Cairns at around 9 am and asked for early check in ! While declined to accet early check in , then asked to keep the luggages / waiting room , but refused as there is no such facilities ! This is not good

The apartments are clean but very basic - certainly no frills and a bit soulless. It was quite noisy, with lots of traffic noise, planes overhead and other residents. It's not very central; a solid 30 minute walk to the centre, and part of it is quite dark at night so if you don't have a car I think it would be inconveniently located. Also, there is no wifi (apparently there is wifi in the 'common area' on the ground floor, but it didn't work for us at all and even if it did, I don't know where you would sit in that space to use it) and we all struggled even with our phone data, so that was a bit annoying.
