Customer service was outstanding. Philippe arranged our tour to Cristo Rey, Allowed us to checked out an hour late, gave us a room upgrade, and on and on. Very beautiful and unique hotel with rooftop restaurant and a retracting roof. I have never stayed at a hotel like this. And fantastic breakfast!!

My husband & I originally planned to only stay 2 weeks but ended up staying 3 weeks. We enjoyed the rooftop restaurant, pool and sauna many times. The free breakfast often included soup, arepas, eggs made your way, papaya, pineapple, infused water, salad, coffee made your way and much more. The variety of plants throughout the hotel and on our balcony was the special touch needed to make it feel like a lush oasis. We did not want to leave! Staff became friends and we look forward to returning soon.

The hotel had just suffered an earthquake the hotel was damaged significantly, not their fault but I contacted Expedia prior to my arrival asking if everything was going to be ok as I was unable to get any information from the hotel itself despite several calls and my booking was non refundable. Expedia reached out to me to tell me that the hotel was functioning normally with no reported damages. Upon arrival we were given a room on the 3rd floor and it was the the only room on that floor that wasn’t damaged all the other rooms were open and being repaired painted and fixed, it was a big mess, dust sheets everywhere ladders building materials paint ect. The lift was Brocken we had to carry our cases and bags up 3 flights of stairs no help was offered. The breakfast was nice and I didn’t complain because of the devastating situation until check out when they were going to charge me for 2 small bottles of water and a can of Coca Cola I drank from the mini bar i was shocked. Eventually after reception making calls to a supervisor/manger the fee was waived. Terrible hospitality terrible customer service I would not recommend this hotel.

It was great, in general! The first night I was in a room where there was no hot water, but they quickly moved me to the next available room. The 2nd room (204) really didn't have enough light - the opaque window curtain could be raised up, only the completely obscuring/blocking curtain could be rolled up. But otherwise clean, friendly and with good vibes!
