"This was such an amazing stay! I've stayed at some of the nicest 5 star hotels in the country, but something about the vibes at this hotel were just perfect. I was staying locally for a medical procedure and it just had the coziest atmosphere. The rooms were immaculate, beds were comfortable, and being my first time at a Drury, I was pleasantly surprised by the Kickback menu at 5:30! It's not luxury food, but it's so nice to have a simple meal and snack without always having to worry about DoorDash or where to eat. The breakfast was also good with a lot of options, and the 3 free drinks for your stay is very generous!
The staff here is incredibly friendly. The General Managers at hotels really set the entire tone of the hotel. At many hotels the GM will rarely interact with customers, hiding in their office all day and it really shows. They are a reflection of the hotel. I saw General Manager Steven Kohn at the front desk interacting with guests and even going around during breakfast offering coffee refills! This is above and beyond for a GM at a hotel and I'm genuinely impressed. I wish I remembered everyone's name, but Joann and Eli at the front desk were extremely friendly and accommodating, and the housekeeper for my room, Falisha, was so friendly and helpful!
This is such a nice hotel, I was actually sad to leave! I will definitely be back soon. Thank you Drury Independence for such a comfortable and welcoming stay. "
