"Hotel quite central, but very surprised that there are no Smart TVs in any room. Also no side table in our room considering we had two King Size beds and no table with the two chairs and it was supposed to be an upgraded room. The beds were very comfortable though and the housekeeping was excellent."

"Our room (suite with mountain view) was more than enough for our one night stay in Lake Tekapo.. Based off some other slightly negative reviews, it may just depend on which type of room you book. Otherwise, our room was clean, comfortable, and we had no issue with noise or any of the amenities. Our room was situated towards the back of the resort - not sure if that makes a difference with noise level. My partner and I appreciated having the ability to walk to the lake/town center. Checking in and out was also a smooth and quick process for us. "

"This is a uniquely excellent hotel in my wide travel experience. Extremely convenient to CHC Christchurch Airport (easy, 10 minute walk), very comfortable and affordable for all budgets. All the facilities are modern, well maintained and especially suited to the budget travelers to whom the hotel mainly caters. Even so they have high quality, very pleasant private rooms for slightly more well-off guests. The staff are friendly, well trained, helpful and courteous. This is a do-not-miss lodging if you need to be close to the airport. After two visits to NZ from my US home, I will certainly stay again. I have no hesitation in giving a 100% recommendation to this great place!"
