"My wife and I stayed here for one night before flying out of SJO. The property is beautiful and the views from the pool and living room are incredible both day and night. The property is in a great location and the history behind it is really interesting. There are a few friendly cats that live on the property (one of them hung out under the pool chairs we were sitting on). The free, made to order breakfast was delicious and quick. "Very close to the airport, clean room, AC available. Family business. They also have a restaurant/bar. The hosts are nice and provided cold bottle water to me when I arrived. I had to go to the airport at 4:30 am and the host was nice enough to drive me there at this hour. They do provide breakfast but I checked out too early. "

"The place is nice and I enjoy the 2nd floor large patio/balcony. However, the service is superb. Laurie and Miriam make you feel like family. There is definitely a personal touch you cannot get in a hotel."

Each day a family of macaws would fly over the hotel while we were eating breakfast, it was breathtakingly beautiful. I highly recommend this hotel. "
