"We had a one night stay here on our Australia trip. We stayed in the Captain's Cottage which was a lovely, spacious room. It was beautifully furnished and the bed was one of the most comfortable we've ever slept in. There is complimentary tea and coffee for guests in the main building, as well as in the rooms. We went in to get a drink at about 8 pm but the coffee machine had run out of most choices and the water to make the tea was lukewarm. Not a huge problem but maybe something to think about...

With self serve in the kitchen. The host careful when explaining how to use the toaster, making the hot water for the rea. And the location of the food items. The views of the ocean near the hotel was also just lovely."

"Everything was as advertised. The animals were fantastic and the cat was super friendly. We stayed in the Tree House. Not a lot of room in there and all amenities are out side of it i.e. kitchen, toilets & shower, but it was advertised like this so it was expected. Great experience and excellent view."

"I loved the ocean view from our room. Parking was very convenient in front of the room. This motel is located away from the Main Street so it’s very quiet except for the ocean and birds."

"Restaurant and bar food and beverage was excellent that goes for both lunch and dinner. Staff in this area also excellent. The issue arrives as we were staying on site that our in room tv would not work. We asked staff for assistance but they just did not want to know about. They said there were issues but all the tv’s in the bars were working ok. Very disappointed!!"

"We booked the Queen share room and as soon as we got there and called the staff about checking in, it wasnt looking good because our room didnt have the partial ocean view OR the private bathroom that was advertised and that we paid for. We opted to pay and additional $10 p/night for the other queen share room with these features, though with that were concerns over cleanliness as a toothpick was left on the nightstand. "Room was not clean dirty towels cups and unmade bed. Property owners were not available. It was the worst experience. We had to book else where and now no refund is being processed we are completely disgusted in the service from Expedia and the Rayville boat house it’s unacceptable. We drove 3 hours to find a room unusable and then not being able to get in contact with the owner then they contact back hours later after we had to find somewhere else. Worst experience. "
