"Cute, no frills hotel with views of the mountain from the room's patio. Staff was friendly and helpful with local suggestions. Rooms were very clean. The hotel seemed to be filled up and we never heard noise from other people. Price was right. Within walking distance of mini golf, restaurants and shopping. We will stay here again."

"The Golden Gables Inn appears to be an older Inn that has been renovated and the room which we were had what looked like all new furniture and the bathroom which was sort of small but again completely renovated. The price was competitive considering that it was peak summer travel period when we stayed. The only thing missing was a breakfast... "

"We booked this place because my partner remembered coming as a child. Then I saw the mixed reviews. I was nervous. Absolutely worth it. Rooms have recently been remodeled. Shower clean (no tub). "Our room was very nice and clean. Parking was great. Our room was open and ready for 3:00 when we showed up. Check in was very easy as our room was unlocked for us. a handy binder was in the room with property information, the code for our room, restaurants, etc. We encountered a staff member twice during our stay and she was very pleasant and helpful.
