"Motel check-in occurs at the CVI casino two block away. I saw no staff on site at the motor Lodge. We were replaced in a second story room. There are no elevators. While the room was clean enough, it clearly showed significant signs of wear and tear that had not been addressed. The door to our room was damaged and required some force to get open and closed. "Everything about the property is excellent. In addition to the conventional ròoms available for booking, a KOA campground is part of the overall operation. Be aware that your arrival time must be conveyed to ensure someone is available to receive you upon arrival. Also, be aware that some cell phone carriers do not cover the immediate spot. T-Mobile could not be used. Fortunately, we had another phone with a different carrier and were OK. WI-FI IS VERY GOOD. STAFF COULD BE MORE CONGENIAL."

"The Peppertree Inn is an older property, however, it is clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and Casey (met at check-in), was very helpful. There is an elevator so getting up to the higher floors was easy (there are 7 total). Checking out was convenient with a locked box on the outside of the office.
