One of our best resort stays. It was quaint, just the right size. Hot water was excellent. Room was clean, bed comfortable. The food was delicious. Options for pools depending on your mood. The hot tub actually works! The staff was overall very pleasant to assist.

The resort manager and all managers were outstanding in resolving a room problem that we had. Nothing wrong with the room but was located next to the entertainment area, we asked them to move us to a quiet area of the resort and they were very happy to help us. The service was above expectations and made our week absolutely fantastic!

Even though we had a cheaper room, it’s less than a five minute walk to a calm and quiet beach. The staff were super helpful and friendly. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a honeymoon spot.

Staff was extremely attentive and friendly. The swim up bar was fantastic and the trees and flowers around the property made it feel like you were in a rainforest. Fantastic place for a peaceful and relaxing week. Highly recommend and will be back!

This resort is wonderful. The rooms are well appointed, the bed is comfortable and the balcony is spacious. The restaurants are all unique and the food was delicious. The service was friendly and attentive. The pools, the grounds, the beach, were all wonderful.

The resort itself was great—very chill, romantic, and full of greenery. Our room was cleaned daily, and the staff was consistently friendly and welcoming. The only downside was the location near a highway, so you could hear traffic at times. The food was decent overall, but most of the fine-dining restaurants were fully booked during our stay, so unfortunately we didn’t get the chance to try them. The pool area also played music that carried over to the beach, which made it feel a bit less relaxing than expected.

Would I say everything was perfect? No. The check-in experience, room assignment confusion, luggage mix-up, and difficulty getting the appropriate ground-floor room were frustrating and took away from what should have been a smooth start to our vacation. At the same time, I don't want those issues to overshadow the good parts of our trip. Once everything was sorted out, we had a really enjoyable vacation. The resort was beautiful, the beach and pools were great, the lazy river was a lot of fun, the entertainment was enjoyable, and most importantly, the staff we interacted with throughout the rest of our stay were warm and welcoming. I think the biggest lesson for us was simply knowing what to expect. Since we booked through Expedia and this was our first Sandals experience, we went in expecting everything to be straightforward. Now we know that there are things we would ask about and confirm ahead of time, especially regarding room location, accessibility, room assignments, and check-in. Despite the rough beginning, we made the most of our vacation and created some wonderful memories in St. Lucia. I would encourage anyone considering Sandals Halcyon Beach to do their research, understand exactly what room category and location they are booking, and communicate any special needs well in advance. And if you encounter an issue when you arrive, be persistent but respectful until it gets resolved. For us, the first two days were frustrating, but the rest of the trip was relaxing,

Third stay in a sandals and honestly the best yet. Just perfect. The amazing staff can’t make your stay anymore comfortable. Food amazing especially breakfast with the excellent Veronica doing the eggs just the way you like the, she was special.

Other than the staff forgetting to do the honeymoon room setup on arrival, I’ve got nothing bad to say. All the food was great, beach is pristine, and staff is friendly and responsive. I suppose if you have the rooms at the back end of the resort you will hear some road noise due to proximity of the hwy, but thats not the case for any of the beachfront rooms. All in all amazing experience and would come back again.

The scenery and greenery was very lovely. The island is absolutely gorgeous covered in flowers and beautiful sites. One thing to be aware of is the very windy roads so if you’re motion sickness sensitive be aware !

The best was meeting all the friendly and helpful staff and lovely guests. The only item I would add is toothpicks at the bars for Martini's and oranges for drinks.
