Very large double room with a great view on the porch. Would be great for a working stay or extended student stay. Front desk staff was helpful. However, you need to contact them to be let into the gate, and that info was not shared prior to check in. Clearly having the WhatsApp number available with instructions prior to check in would have been nice. Great location with easy walking access to the city center.

Nice room in the center of Cantania

In the very center of Cantania and a very large room compared to many hotels. Good quality breakfast included - traditional Sicilien food. However, no support for personal food preferences. Private and secure parking area for the car

Super convenient and very unique

Located smacked up in the middle of the central Square. It’s an older house that belonged to royalty. You can see where the carriages and horses were tied in the car park. It was fantastic to have private parking inside. There is an elevator if you need it and the door shut at night to keep your car safe The room fit four of us comfortably. It was a very unique day. We were unable to take advantage of any breakfast amenities due to leaving so early. I would love to see some of the other rooms that this B&B has to offer.

A Hidden Gem

We had an amazing few days staying in part of an old palace in the middle of Catania. The property is really authentic and beautiful yet so peaceful and cool. Fantastic location and secure, covered parking if needed. Fabulous big bedrooms and delicious breakfasts

Gem and calm in a bustling city

Fabulous location, building (it's a palace) and super sweet hosts. Rooms were very spacious with high ceilings and they provided house slippers. Only issue was hot water ran out after two quick showers.

Curry smell was overwhelming

The curry smell was so strong we couldn't stay. There was no one there to check us in. We had to call and then wait on someone. We were in a garage ‘courtyard’ and a young person arrived on a bicycle and took us to a small elevator to go to our room. Then we had to go down the stairs back to a room. There was no way to open any windows, the air conditioner didn’t cool well, the TV didn’t come on and the smell of curry was VERY strong. We did not stay. It was an unpleasant experience we did not want to complete.

La habitación está muy bien asi como el cuarto de baño,buena limpieza,desayuno con poca variedad, buena ubicación. Lo peor de todo es que no tiene el nombre en ningún sitio,no tiene recepción, tuvimos que llamar ,no contestaron,envie WhatsApp y después de 15 minutos contestaron, otros 15 minutos para venir y darnos la habitación. En la descripción pone que tiene ascensor y si el hueco esta .

Déception à Catane

Nous avons choisi ce lieu pour des avis et notes très bonnes, au final nous avons été plus que déçu de cet établissement. Dès l’arrivée, nous avons attendu 15/20min avant que l’on vienne nous ouvrir le porche de l’immeuble pour le parking inférieur. Si vous avez une voiture plus grande qu’une petite citadine une vrai galère, obligé de se garer en biais entre deux poteaux dans un mouchoir de poche et une autre voiture à côté qui vous empêche presque de sortir, au final une fausse vraie place de stationnement. Ensuite nous avons prévenu un employé que nous avions besoin du petit déjeuner à 8h les deux jours, le premier jour il est arrivé à 8h20, et le deuxième jour à 9h, à l’heure de notre départ. Donc même pas encore mangé et pourtant payé ! De plus cet employé a voulu nous faire payer le parking de l'immeuble en plus alors qu'il était inclus dans le prix de la chambre, une vraie arnaque, il aura essayé au moins. Je vous épargne les petits désagréments : plus de papier toilette dans la salle de bain, moisissure dans la douche, vidéo projecteur TV qui projette sur un mur vert et personne dans le b&b pour la moindre demande… donc pour une note exceptionnelle, on est vraiment très très loin du compte.
