"Fabulous breakfast, lots of options. Very friendly staff; helpful and chatty. Bar is nice with nice atmosphere. Gym was small but had a range of machines and also free weights. Spa small but enough to do for 2 hours. Whole ambience of the hotel was delightful and I’ll definitely return. Highly recommended "

"Perfect hotel and close to amenities"

"The hotel sits a good few miles from Cambridge but the road links are pretty good. Hotel is clean and tidy and staff I spoke to were helpful. Room was an upgraded one so more expensive of course but the added space was useful. The breakfast was at best average. Hot food wasn’t very hot and was greasy, cold or overcooked. The staff appeared overwhelmed and as a result people were queuing constantly for everything from coffee to food items as well as simply to sit down. Gym is a good size and pool area is fine although it was closed due to a fault for part of one of the days. Overall I was left a bit disappointed but it was OK."

"Very comfortable room with everything one needs for most stays. Excellent breakfasts and as always very good value for money. Warm welcoming staff who are always helpful. Excellent parking although now on Ringgo App. Good road links although sat nav may mislead at nearby roundabout."

"It isn’t so much the property that is the problem, it is the staff annd operation. I waited 4 hours for a room, the staff was unhelpful and uninterested, the central heating was not turned on until 1700 hrs so the room was cold, the restaurant food was basic and unappealing. Most confronting was the hotel’s policy that guests cannot order in takeaway - that policy was not mentioned on its website or the Expedia property description. "
