For a quick stop on travels is ok but it is run down and you get what you pay for. Staff was friendly and stay was ok. Not bad if your on a tight budget.

I only stayed one night and you definitely get what you pay for. At first arrival the room looked pretty good. I then looked at the bathroom, the door looked like it was coming apart, the door handle looked like it was ready to fall off and extremely loose (I couldn't probably pulled it out of it's hole). It also appeared someone prior to me had punched a hole into the bathroom door. Water pressure was almost non existent. It was ok for a night as I just needed a place to sleep at as I was leaving early the next morning. I would not stay here for more than one night.

We checked in. Staff was friendly and courteous but then things went down hill. The room smelled like cigarette smoke and pot. There were cigarette burns in the bedspread and curtains. Could not get the new Roku tv to work because we did not have a Roku account. Then I pulled back the blanket and the sheets were dirty and had black dog hair all over them. There were no other rooms available.

Good for what you give

Staff was friendly and genuine. The room was clean despite a nearly 1" gap on the bottom. Bed was quite comfortable. The place is showing its age, but overall a perfectly adequate stay.

Don't bother you check in and they leave you alone to do your day. Don't bother you unless something going on other then that they respect your privacy. Front desk miss rex very wonderful girl I would come back just for that wonderful lady! Good front desk help!

Great low budget hotel

Seem to be remodeling which is nice. Love new furniture set up and bedspread! Bed was comfortable,it was quiet and it was cheap. Bathroom definitely still needs to be updated and need new pillows and wash cloths. Both my wash cloths were like gauze you could see through them. Overall I was very happy with my stay. It provided everything I needed for the week

The room I was in had been recently updated with new paint, floors, and furniture so that made for a relaxing stay. The AC unit worked well but the smell of stale cigarettes was strongest with it on. I kept the door open when I first arrived for a long time to air it out , and then again later before I went to bed. Overall I will stay here again next time I take a trip to Cedar Rapids

I love staying at motel 6! The staff here most of them go out of their way to accommodate you. The only thing that I would say is something that I found just today was a major Downer is that they do price matches. I have used Expedia for many years and I have never been told by this hotel that they do price match so I could have gotten this hotel room that I'm currently in for $39 total every single time this entire time. But I'm very happy today that I did find that out because I am traveling so much right now I need to save as much money as I can. I love Expedia I have went through four or five different sites and I would never go to anybody else but Expedia from now on the phenomenal they keep giving me extra discounts every single time if I could give them a rating I would give them a 10 out of five for sure. Thank you motel 6 for being so accommodating to me in this rough time of my life it's very much appreciated.
