"Most of the staff were extremely helpful and professional. The grounds/fitness/restaurant and walking trails were great- nice happy hour and wonderful clam chowder with green chili!
I loved that they opened the pool even though I did not get a chance to use it. "
"There was a lot of noise coming from another room. I called the front desk at 10:30 pm and was told they would check it out. The noise continue and I made three more calls. Finally at 2 am i could hear security knocking on the other room and tell them to be quiet. It shouldn't have taken so many calls and so long to fix this.

"I recently stayed at the Eldorado Hotel & Spa in Santa Fe with my children and extended family, and we had a really enjoyable experience overall. The location is a huge plus—being just steps from the Plaza made it easy for all of us, especially with kids, to walk around, explore, and grab food without worrying about transportation.
The hotel has a warm Southwestern feel that made it comfortable and welcoming for our whole group. Our rooms were clean, spacious enough for a family stay, and provided a nice place to relax after a full day out. Traveling with kids can sometimes be hectic, but the environment here felt calm and accommodating.
One of our favorite spots was the rooftop pool and lounge area. It was a great place for both the kids to enjoy and the adults to unwind, with beautiful views that made it even more special.
The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which made coordinating a larger group much easier. They were patient and accommodating, which we really appreciated.
If I had to point out anything, it would be that some parts of the hotel feel a little dated, but it didn’t impact our overall comfort.
Overall, this was a great choice for a family trip to Santa Fe. I would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling with kids or a group looking for a convenient, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay."
"Be aware that this place looks amazing but it’s nothing more than lipstick on a pig!
Arrived expecting to pay cash as requested and they had charged my card before I got there. Went to room it was dirty. Got new room with 2 beds so couldn’t sleep together. Was told about the great happy hour by the front desk and waited until 4 for it. Took a bath before and the shower valve would not release all the way so I was getting splattered on the head and face while trying to relax in the tub. Hard to do when the drain plug wouldn’t seal and tub kept draining. Had to put a rag to plug it. Noticed how poorly maintained the bathroom was with disgusting paint job, old faucets and mold around the faucet valve.
Went to happy hour to eat and have a drink. Told the manager about the tub issues. Then learned there was no happy hour and they were closed for a private party. Very disappointed we had to go out and spend a lot more than planned to eat somewhere else.
Back in the room we turn on the tv and notice the screen has a pink greenish hue. Tried to adjust the color without success. At this point giving up on all hope of a good stay.
But wait it got better…trying to sleep was horrible as the street noise and railway were very loud almost like there were no windows in the place.
Went to breakfast the next morning and it was ok at best, yet it was the best part of the stay so far.
Left and will never stay here again."
