"This was a small, older looking budget motel. In spite of that, the unit / bathroom / flooring seemed newly remodeled and well designed. Check-in was confusing as owner’s daughter didn’t speak English and she was not friendly. She got her father on the phone and I wasn’t clear if he was talking to her or me. But they did let us check in early and the unit was very clean. The unit below us, which I believe was the owner / manager’s apartment was very noisy with constant bumping and jumping...

"The manager Harry was especially helpful, polite, kind, and welcoming. We appreciate his professionalism. He clearly cares about the property and offering great customer service! The room was delightful and large. The queen beds were super comfortable. The breakfast was just right. We really enjoyed our stay here. The price was really fair considering it's the summer season. We will stay here each time we visit the Newport area. Thank you!"

"Staff was very nice! I got to my room and it smelled like someone's very stinky shoe. I tried airing out the room, but it didn't help much, as I could smell the stink all night. Very sad, as if they just replaced the carpet, fixed the deadlock and put a screen on the window with a lock on, it would have been a pleasant stay."
