"It is exactly what I expect from a motel, but in a prime Chicago location. The room was clean, the property seemed well maintained. The staff was all very friendly and check in/check out was incredibly smooth and fast. They were able to accommodate an earlier check in with almost no notice which is always incredible. Rooms have a safe, mini fridge, microwave, and basic coffee setup. The showers are pretty nice, water pressure and temperature were fine with plenty of space."

"Perfect little spot for exploring Pictured Rocks!
We stayed here while visiting Pictured Rocks, Miners Castle, and Lake Superior, and it was exactly what we needed for a night on the road. The room was clean and comfortable, with a nice shower/bathroom, mini fridge, and some sort of hot-water thingy that I never quite figured out .
Check-in was super easy. I was able to check in right from my phone, and they sent us a numerical code to get into the room, so there was no hassle with keys or...

"Overall you could not ask for a more affordable, clean, well maintained and accessible hotel. The property is simple, but the staff are wonderful and it is in much better condition to others I stayed at during my recent cross country trip. I would stay here again in a heartbeat without reservations."
