"The room is always clean Breakfast was served in the lobby; it wasn't comfortable being seen eating while checking in. The staff were polite, but it's unacceptable that they didn't speak another language. My English is basic, and they didn't know French.As far as I know, French is an official language in Canada, and they weren't making any effort to be understood. "Breakfast is good, fairly standard but hot and replenished very promptly. Staff were very helpful and friendly when required. The rooms were serviceable but well worn. Carpets stained wallpaper repaired(!) many places, broken grout, bad bathroom caulking. Our room was very stale smelling. My son’s room was accessible but with a tub (many grab bars) so he could not bathe independently. The grab bars around the toilet were badly positioned and not usable for him. That being said most hotels/motels...
