"We booked this B&B for one night but wish we'd stayed longer. Our hosts, Katerina and Valerio were magnificent in every way. Our room and facilities were perfect. You can step out of the bedroom into a lovely garden/patio with tables and chairs where you can watch the sun go down over the mountains. Excellent breakfast too. "The hotel is in a lovely location on Lake Orta, within close proximity to Orta San Giulio. However, the hotel itself is looking rather shabby and is in need of a makeover. The rooms are a good size, but the air conditioning is extremely noisy, making it difficult to sleep with it switched on. Unfortunately, without the air conditioning, the rooms become uncomfortably hot. The hotel was reasonably clean. Cooked breakfast was disappointing, particularly the scrambled eggs, which were terrible....

"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Ponti and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
