Such an interesting unique city. Watching the sunset at the lighthouse was spectacular. And trying different bars and restaurants. There are soooo many shops of all different descriptions. It also is very close to a lovely beach.

The old part of the town was very picturesque; it was described as Venetian and there were plenty of interesting shops and places to eat in both the new and old areas of town.

Beautiful harbour, plenty to see and do. We booked a private tour of monasteries and ruins of Chania and also saw a 3,000 yr old olive tree.

We did go to Limmonopolis water park which we loved and coukd have stayed longer (6 hours and still not bored) Also went on the glass botton boat Captain Nestor from Chania old harbour. This was the best trip, saw a WW2 subjen plane, goats, snorkell
