"Room was clean and it was quiet. Breakfast was good but would have enjoyed an egg. I dont eat pork or beef. Everyone there was friendly and helpul. The bar was nice and I enjoyed having a cocktail. Prices are very reasonable in the bar. Deanna is very helpful. The only downside is that i found the mattress to be hard for my preference. "

"Great staff, especially Roman and Lucy at Reception. They were so welcoming and offered great tips for dining and parking around Chamonix during UMTB week. I wouldn’t recommend staying here without a car since it’s a little off the beaten path, but it was a great home base for our trip. "

"Very quaint and homey, perfect for two travelers looking for a cheap stay near the Chamonix area. Fabienne and the rest of the staff were kind and accommodating, evidenced by them working with us when we encountered bus and flight delays. Rooms were cleaned daily. Additionally, you have the option to pay the first day you arrive or the last (if you plan on taking advantage of the hotel breakfast, it’s easier to pay upon checking out). Would stay again if we decide to journey out to Chamonix....

"Four years ago, we stayed at the Hotel Les Grands Montets as part of our Tour du Mont Blanc ten-day trek. We had two nights there as we prepared for our last two legs of hiking on our trek. Unfortunately, poor weather did not permit us to take the preferred route to the Lac Blanc -- wind and precipitation made that leg too dangerous. We did an alternate route. We decided to complete the Lac Blanc section one day. This year, we completed that leg of the trip under excellent weather...

"Enjoyed a lovely stay at Chalet Hotel du Bois. The rooms were warm, cosy and clean, and the staff were very helpful. The restaurant was exceptionally good, we ate there twice and both times enjoyed a lovely meal. The bar was also a great place to enjoy a drink and play cards. Only used the pool/ sauna once but was very nice after a day of skiing."

"Hieno arkkitehtuuri, kauniisti remontoitu hotelli. Rauhallinen tunnelma, mukavat aulatilat. Huone, kylpyhuone ja spa siistit. Aamiainen paikallinen ja runsas. Rauhallisen hotellin ihanana kontrastina pieni kauppakäytävä aivan aulan oven ulkopuolella, joten palvelut (suksivuokraamo, hissiliput, ravintoloita, apteekki, kauppa ym.) aivan vieressä. Ski in, ski out. Hotellissa hyvä suksihuone. Hiihtokeskus loistava. "
