If you're not prepared, airports and flying can be tough. But there's no need to panic. Follow these tips and tricks for a pain-free start to your getaway in Kloulklubed. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- It's simple --- first, pack your passport, travel docs, bank cards and vital medications. Next, you'll want some in-flight entertainment to while away the time. A thrilling novel and a tablet filled with your favourite shows are some fantastic options. If you hope to catch more than just forty winks, a quality neck pillow and some earplugs will also come in handy. Finally, leave some space for a toothbrush and some facial wipes so you'll touchdown feeling fresh and raring to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Squeeze all your full-sized bottles of hair gel and hairspray in your checked luggage. Any liquids in your carry-on bag larger than 3null4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated. Sharp or pointed objects, like your beloved Swiss Army knife, and products which are flammable or explosive, such as aerosol cans, spray paint and strong acids, are also not allowed.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort really should be the goal when deciding what to wear on your flight. Consider your footwear choice with care too, as swelling of the feet and ankles can be a side effect of flying. Slightly roomy, flat shoes are always a good idea.
- It's likely you've heard about deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot condition caused by long periods of sitting. There are plenty of ways to lower your risk. Wear a pair of compression socks, drink lots of water often and remember to keep your legs and feet moving. Walk the aisles of the cabin or perform some stretches in your seat.
