If you're poorly prepared, travelling can be challenging. But there's no need to worry. Follow these useful tips for a worry-free start to your time in L'Aldosa. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Air travel can be a comfortable experience if you pack the right stuff. Firstly, you'll need basic toiletries, such as lip balm and hand cream, a clean pair of socks and something to read. Secondly, leave space in your hand luggage for your electronic devices, chargers, your important medications and maybe a neck pillow as well. Lastly, don't forget to bring your passport, travel documents and some money.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Check carefully that you don't have a sharp object hiding in one of the compartments of your hand luggage. Other banned items include explosive or flammable substances, such as bleach and fuel, and liquids and gels in containers with a capacity of more than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres).
What to wear on a flight:
- Your aim is to be as comfortable as possible. Go for a pair of flat, closed-toe shoes, dress in loose, natural-fibre clothing and don't forget to bring a jacket in case it gets cold in the cabin.
- You're probably aware of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by prolonged periods of sitting. To minimize your risk on board, stay hydrated, consider wearing compression tights or socks and move your lower limbs often.
