Depending on where you’re coming from, your trip to Ninh Binh could be a breeze or it could drag on forever. We’ve pulled together some useful travel tips that will help you start your unforgettable escape on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- The trick to having a worry-free flight experience is to plan ahead. First up, the essentials: passport, travel docs, cash and any vital medications. Next, bring on board items that’ll help keep you occupied, like some electronic gadgets or a thrilling novel. It’s also wise to bring your chargers, a comfy neck pillow and a pair of noise-cancelling headphones. And of course, don’t forget to chuck in toiletries like a toothbrush, lip balm and a clean set of clothes.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Leave all your full-sized bottles of hair gel and hairspray in your checked luggage. Any liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3null4 ounces (100 milliliters) won’t be allowed on. Sharp objects, like your treasured Swiss Army knife, and dangerous goods which are flammable or explosive, such as aerosol cans, spray paint and gasoline, are also restricted.
What to wear on a flight:
- The narrow aisles of a plane are not the best place for a fashion parade. Wear comfortable clothes and pack a cardigan as it can get chilly in the cabin during long-haul flights. Enclosed, flat shoes are always a good choice too.
- The serious condition called deep vein thrombosis (DVT) can pose a risk on long-distance flights. It’s the result of blood clots forming due to poor circulation. Walking up and down the aisle and doing leg and foot exercises while seated is a great way to prevent this developing. Wearing a good pair of compression tights or socks may also help.
