We've pulled together all the info you need to make your journey as stress-free as possible. Follow our tips and you'll be speeding through the airport and enjoying Soyo before you know it.What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane trip can be a cruisy experience if you take the right stuff. Firstly, you'll need basic toiletries, such as deodorant and a toothbrush, a spare change of clothes and a good read. Secondly, find a spot in your bag for your phone, tablet and chargers, your important medications and perhaps a quality neck pillow as well. Lastly, and most importantly, remember to take your passport, travel docs and your credit cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Double-check that you don't have a sharp object lurking in one of the compartments of your hand luggage. Other banned items include explosive or flammable goods, such as aerosol cans and bleach, and liquids and gels in containers larger than 3null4 ounces (100 milliliters).
What to wear on a flight:
- The narrow aisles of your plane are no fashion runway. Layer yourself up with comfortable clothes and don't forget to bring a sweater as it can get quite cool inside the cabin during long-haul flights. Closed-toed, flat shoes are also a good choice.
- Unfortunately, a risk of long-distance flying is developing deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by prolonged periods of inactivity. To prevent this, make the most of every opportunity to walk around the cabin and stretch your legs. Compression tights and socks are another easy way to help reduce this risk.
