My stay at GINGER IITM RP-TARAMANI

The stay was good, comfortable, homely under quite friendly atmosphere. It's more of an informal type. I loved it. The ambience was good. Though the girls at Reception were under training, Nikhil was good, intelligent and very cooperative. Good material for you.

Pathetic property at this rate Room size was like a cellar, roofs and walls were all stained. TV was hanging in an oblique direction. Lights were not working, electricity repair guy came after complain. Breakfast and dinner was also very very average.

Better upkeep required

The rooms was comfortable but the phone did not work in the room. The TV too wasn't working and i got the technician to come in and fix it. Housekeeping needs to do a thorough check to ensure gadgets are working in the room to avoid inconvenience to the customer.

Basically the hotel is very near to IIT Madras.

The stay at the Hotel was very pleasing. But only one problem I faced was regarding room service. When Buffet time is going on the room service is not given. I will suggest that parallelly the room service should be on. Recently I faced the same. I wanted snack to have but the room service refused to give accept coffee. Rest every thing was fine.

Great staff, 5 star breakfast/supper buffet

Wonderful, cheerful, satisfying, comfortable, happy are all words to describe my stay at the hotel. The staff went out of their way to insure my comfort and satisfaction. The food served at both the breakfast and supper buffet was 5 star, the best of south Indian cuisine. The wait staff at the buffet were also 5 star, constantly observing and answering your need before it was voiced. The front desk personnel were always friendly and smiling even though they and I could not communicate properly at times. The room was comfortable, cool and had a wonderful view of the city. Housekeeping was on a daily basis and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful at every turn, trying their best to make me happy and comfortable. All things considered, I would not hesitate to stay at the Ginger Hotel at Tidel Park again. My 24 days there were filled with happiness and satisfaction.

Small. Bad room service

The whole hotel is just one floor of the research park. Power kept going off and the wi-fi was flaky at best. Stay tried their best to help but there experience was not good especially considering there price. The room was small. Window was tiny and the room service was OK at best. The towels were not soft and they gave just one towel?!

Hi Given the room rates. The hotel is a decent return for your money just for the location. It's proximity to ramanujan IT city is the big plus. The room and facilities are on par for a budget hotel. But definitely clean. The rooms are on the top floor so the lift takes a long time. The staff are friendly. Overall I rate as a 3.5 but only for biz travellers

IITマドラス近くのビジネスホテル

立地はIITマドラスのリサーチパーク内にあり，１１階がホテルになる．周辺には特にレストランやコンビニなどの施設は無いため，リキシャなどを使わないと食事をするのも難しい．ホテル内のルームサービスでの食事は可能だが，ホテルのそれは夜19:30以降でないと受け付けてくれない．チェンナイのレストランの多くは19:30以降にオープンするために，それと同様である．部屋にはエアコンと大型のファンがベッド上に設置されている．ファンの音は割と大きいが，停止させると蚊に刺される可能性があるので回しっぱなしにするのがよい．また，このファンがあるために洗濯物を部屋干しする際には，シャツなども一晩で乾きます．無料のWifiはフロントに申し出ると使えるが，モバイル限定のようである．石鹸やシャンプーなどはついていないが，バスタオルとフェイスタオルは毎日交換があり，トイレは水洗，ボトルウォーターの支給も毎日500mLが2本ついていた．朝食は一階の食堂脇でとることができる．総合的には価格の割に不自由のない良いホテルであった．ただし，IITマドラスに用事のある人以外はメリットが少ないかもしれない．IITマドラスには隣接する資材搬入用の入口から入ることができる．

Not worth the money...

1. Location: Out skirts. Only good for people who have some work in nearby locations. Else it's highly avoidable. Better go for Ginger Vadapalani. 2. Breakfast: No complimentary breakfast!! I paid 3k for a room and you can't offer complimentary breakfast!! You need to learn from the competition. 3. Rooms: Too small and not comfy. Next to my room there was a storeroom!! No view at all.. It was such a big big let down. Good thing was that I only went there back in night to sleep. 4. Food: No lunch service. You have to call nearby hotels for that. Really!! 5. Hotel surroundings: It is located on 11th floor of a big building and has 84 rooms. Too dense for a hotel and there is only 1 lift available. Only 1 lift!! 6. Bathrooms: Ok. Ok. No bathing kit. No dental kit. 7. Power cuts. Meter tripping. All happened. 8. Overall rating: 1/5 My last stay there for sure.

Budget Unentertaining Hotel

Ginger Hotel is very ordinary hotel and does not justify the cost. Room Stay might give u a feel that at $30-35 cost, you would get all amenities like air-conditioning, television, good bed but unfortunately things are not maintained & even services are not available. Facilities are there but on self serve basis
