"Room was very clean and modern for a budget hotel"

"It’s a bit rundown. It’s right on the highway so the noise level is very high. Refrigerator was very noisy. I had to unplug it ice machine near my room is spilling ice continuously making a lot of racket. Good location."

"Our assigned room was on the third floor; however the elevator was out of service. After hauling a couple of suitcases up two floors it was obvious that we would not be able to stay. I am 86 yrs old and my wife is 79. The desk clerk said that he understood but that since I booked the hotel through Expedia he could not refund our money. He told us that Expedia would have to call the hotel. Since we were there for our granddaughter's college graduation we had to find another hotel (with a functional elevator). Our efforts to contact Expedia failed. The Expedia computer seemed not to have a record of this hotel reservation. I will continue to try to find a phone number for customer service."

"Lobby was beautiful, coffee always available, clean room. Good location. Food options nearby, parks and walking trail nearby."

"The front staff checking in was not helpful and had a little attitude about nothing, but the staff on duty when I checked out was fabulous. The drink stations were not kept up. Coffee was out, sugar was everywhere, that area looked dirty. The gaming floor was clean and they do have plenty of games to play. I spend a lot of time at Choctaw Casinos so was really excited to try Cherokee, but from this experience, I will probably stick to Choctaw if I am wanting a weekend getaway but wouldnt mind just gambling at Cherokee if passing by…"

"Check in and out was easy, however the building felt hot when we arrived, the sauna was not in use, we had TV problems in on of our rooms, breakfast was ok, however we noticed the glass panel above us was shattered. "

"The room had a terrible smell, as soon as you opened the door it hit your nose. And made it very hard to breathe. Because of that it was not possible to be comfortable at all. The refrigerator in our room was leaking and not staying cool, and also had a funny smell coming from it as well. There were also no vending machines on our floor as the signage showed there to be. Also, there was just something about the hotel that made it seem uninviting. Definitely would not recommend anyone to stay here and will not be coming back myself."
