I would describe the stay as travelodge level rooms- fairly basic. Probably a 2-3 star stat. Standard of cleanliness isn’t great- the room had a faint smell of damp or urines. Old Thorns Hotel & Resort
Spa was amazing, I had a back massage which was so nice. The rooms could do with a bit of a touch up as some of the decor is bit tired now. Also Air conditioning would be a benefit we did have a fan but the room was so hot.

Macdonald Botley Park Hotel & Spa
Easy to book online, reasonable prices. Staff welcome, check in easy. Food outlets in hotel available at different times. Good size room, comfortable bed. Parking area ample. Our only negative was our bathroom sink had a few old cracks (objects been dropped), not appealing
