"This was my second time staying at Hotel Heidinger. The room was clean, and the view was awesome. The last time I stayed, I remember the bed was very comfortable. This time the mattress was very hard, and the pillows are hard, and your head doesn't sink down into the pillow like a normal pillow. The curtains in the room are also tattered and have holes in them. This hotel has the potential to be four stars. The staff is wonderful. The breakfast is better than I would expect. "The listing is not the actual place. We arrived at the hotel that is listed matching the name, address, photo, and even the phone number but the lady did not have our reservation and said she does not even deal with expedia. But she had a sister in law with a place to stay which turned out was our reservation. A totally different place, which was a great place and great people, just not the place we reserved."

"This place is amazing for a quite time with your loved ones. You have pristine mountain forests within walking distance and be prepared to lovely and ugly bugs in the surroundings. The rooms and service and superb but don´t expect five-stars service. Please remember you are in the middle of nowhere and not everything is available on demand. If you are in the mood for nocturnal photo safaris this place is a dream but be aware of the need of a local guide to bring you back home."
