"Large clean room and bathroom . Very comfortable bed , Plug for kettle not easily accessible. Outside window frame badly in need of repainting. Dinner and breakfast good. Best steak I have had for a while. Grounds require tidying, front door could be spruced up as first impressions are important"

"The hotel was very tired and run down. There wasn’t a phone in the room, so we couldn’t call for ice or a new bath robe (as the one we had was dirty from a previous guest).
