"This trip was a quick four day trip to Costa Rica. I just wanted a clean room on the beach. It was very economically priced. The room was clean and spacious. This is not the normal resort or hotel I would stay in but it was excellent for what I was looking for on this trip. I usually stay at nicer much more expensive, all inclusive resorts where its a mile to the food, or beach. This one is right on the beach. About a 15 minute walk or $4 Uber ride to town. "Great staff, beautiful pool. Incredible food in the restaurant. But the elevator is broken (and apparently has been for months). Looks like they have no plans to fix it, since we noticed the staff storing cleaning supplies in it. We had to move to a first floor room (from the Nyuri Penthouse Suite) when my husband got into an accident in Costa Rica and could no longer use the stairs. Very disappointing that the management company doesn't consider this a priority."

The biggest issue we experienced was with the staff during meal times. Unfortunately, several interactions felt rude and unwelcoming, which took away from an otherwise enjoyable experience. Hospitality really makes a difference, especially when you’re staying somewhere for a vacation. We also had a significant issue with the outdoor pool area....

"We were blown away by the view. Everyone we interacted with, from the owner (talking through the doorbell camera outside the gate), to the owner's friends who came by, to the staff who made the breakfast were incredibly friendly and helpful. We stayed here for one night just to be closer to the airport since we were coming from Nosara. It was worth the slight detour rather than staying at the airport hotel.
