"I think this is a refurbished hostel. I could be wrong but it gives me hostel type of vibes. Just walking up the steps squeaking hostel hostel. However the room was quite clean. Staff was welcoming. What's up with the heating? That nor the AC didn't seem to work. Where is the sound proofing? Honestly, the location is awesome, like very awesome but that alone should not drive the price."

"This is a well located hotel for central Lyon. It has a delightful reception, lounge and breakfast restaurant area. The breakfast although 16 euros is great with good choice. The staff could not be more helpful. The rooms do let this hotel down, as they are small and have been updated in a more contemporary style. The curtains are not well positioned to cover the windows and so let in a lot of light and do not provide privacy. The bathrooms are very small and some are in need of updating."

We especially loved the beautiful blend of old and modern design—the high ceilings, large windows, and historic details gave the hotel so much character while still feeling stylish and comfortable. "Hotel itself is beautiful. Pool and amenities as advertised. Staff are well trained, professional, and very friendly. The room fit and fondue do not reflect the price - layouts are quite strange, ie. no sink on the same floor as the toilet and shower. And Bring your own mattress because the beds are exceptionally uncomfortable. Location would be the main reason to stay "

"I waited 10 minutes in the lobby before anyone attended. I got to my room and took a shower. The shower drain was blocked causing the water to run out of the shower, into the bathroom and on to the bedroom. It was a mess. I had to use the towels to dam the water flow. Then my door wouldn’t lock. When I closed the door it could be opened by pushing g the door. I requested a room change but the desk clerk was reluctant to so to do. Eventually he relented and I moved to a more secure room. At...
